About Us

Karl and Chris started L.A Home improvement in 2006 as a part -time business.  Karl has over 35 years experience as a Carpenter, running and managing large and small residential and commercial projects. Over the years we have grown our customer base by providing quality work, fair prices and offering peace of mind to our customers. We pride ourselves on providing our customers with quality work year after year. Our Customers know us and trust us. We never use subcontractors, as we self-perform all of the work ourselves.

Because we have stayed small and continue to work on a part-time basis, we are very selective on which projects we agree to take on. Each project is carefully reviewed in advance so we know that we are meeting the customer's schedule and budget. Currently, we work on a weekday afternoon and weekend schedule.

Each project will be quoted in advance and a proposal will be submitted as required by the customer's needs. 

Our projects are limited to repairs and improvement projects. We have a broad experience base in Carpentry, painting, repairs and installations.
